Endowments

An endowment refers to a fund or funds that are generally kept permanently. Their interest income provides for the overall operations of the organization.

An endowment resolution should address the following issues;

• purpose of the endowment and how it will advance the mission of the organization
• management of the endowment
• investment strategy of the various funds
• disbursement policy
