Steve has over 13 years of audit and accounting experience and is a member of the firm’s nonprofit practice. He specializes in trade associations, professional associations and charitable organizations.
He works on all phases of the audit engagement, including developing the audit plan, supervision of staff levels, review of all work papers and review of the financial statements. He works closely with clients and members of the nonprofit practice to ensure adherence to client deadlines and work plans. He also works closely with management and those charged with financial governance to ensure policies are in line with industry standards, implementation of new accounting standards is appropriate and changes to the organization are accounted for correctly. He works with management throughout the year to stay current on industry updates and trends.
